Stephen De Simone is an Associate at Dechert LLP since September 2021, bringing expertise developed through significant legal experience. Prior to this role, Stephen served as a Research Assistant at The George Washington University Law School, conducting legal research on genetic issues for a textbook, and interned at the Department of Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility, analyzing legal matters and preparing memoranda. Earlier experience includes an internship with the Alamance County District Attorneys Office, where responsibilities encompassed legal research and assisting attorneys in a criminal district courtroom. Stephen holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Criminology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
