Matias Pentreath is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in leading teams and developing backend services. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for the Platform team at Decentraland since June 2021, Matias holds a dual role focusing on product management and engineering, overseeing decentralized services for Metaverse functionalities. Prior experience includes over a decade at MuleSoft Inc, where Matias progressed from Senior QA Automation Engineer to Engineering Manager, managing teams responsible for backend platform services and integration solutions. Earlier roles at IBM involved strategic IT architecture and quality analysis, and experiences with Swiss Medical Group and IT Latinoamérica S.A. provided foundational support and installation skills. Matias holds a degree in Computer Science from Universidad Centro de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Exactas.
