Vincent Gerusz is a highly experienced medicinal chemist currently serving as the Head of Medicinal Chemistry at Debiopharm since September 2014, focusing on antibacterial and oncology research, including small molecules and antibody-drug conjugates. Notably recognized as the lead chemist and recipient of two CarbX grants aimed at combating gonorrhea and Acinetobacter, Vincent has driven multi-million dollar research initiatives. Prior experience includes consulting in medicinal chemistry, directing medicinal chemistry at Mutabilis, and leading projects in oncology and epigenomics at BioNumerik Pharmaceuticals, alongside research roles at Rhône-Poulenc Aventis. Vincent holds a PhD in Chemistry from Stanford University and has completed post-doctoral studies at The Philipp University of Marburg, as well as earning a BS in Chemistry from CPE Lyon.
