Marco Derksen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital transformation, marketing, and strategic consulting. As the founder and partner of Upstream BV since August 2005, Marco has provided advisory services to both public and private organizations, including prominent entities such as ING and Rabobank. Marco currently serves as a strategic advisor for digital transformation at Politie Nederland and as a core lecturer in digital transformation at Politieacademie and Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen. Additionally, Marco is actively involved in various leadership roles, including membership on the Supervisory Board of Hoogte80 Festival and the Council of Commissioners for de Woonmensen. Marco also co-founded Iris Academy, an educational collective focused on marketing and leadership. Educational credentials include studies at Radboud University and HAN University of Applied Sciences.
