Floris Harthoorn has over 17 years of experience in the financial sector, currently serving as a Model Validator at de Volksbank since October 2012, where the role involves validating risk models through data and definition assessments. Previous roles include Credit Risk Data Analyst, responsible for conducting statistical analyses and translating business requirements into risk model requirements, and Risk Manager focusing on the mortgage portfolio of SNS Retail Bank. Prior to de Volksbank, Floris worked at SNS Bank from July 2007 to September 2012 as a Senior Process Analyst/Business Analyst, advising on change projects and assessing improvement proposals, as well as a Process Manager implementing business process management principles. The career began at Hypsotech as a Junior Consultant, providing advisory support on various mortgage projects. Floris holds a Master’s Degree in Business Sciences with a specialization in Corporate Strategy from Radboud University.
