Menno Houtstra is an experienced professional in sustainable urban agriculture and project development. Currently serving as a Werkbegeleider at De Regenboog Groep since July 2021 and also as an initiator and project developer at Kaskantine, Menno is actively engaged in setting up Urban Farm Kaskantine 4.0 while exploring opportunities to expand project designs globally. Previously, Menno contributed as a social entrepreneur and business developer at De Kas Kantine, focusing on creating a semi-mobile, eco-friendly business platform. Prior roles included Head Chef at Paiza, Cook at LA BALADE DES JOYEUX MARMITONS, Project Coordinator at Rebel Farmer, and Project Coordinator at ECEAT, emphasizing a strong background in eco-agro tourism and community development. Menno holds an engineering degree in Irrigation and Social Studies from Wageningen University & Research.
