Andrew Thompson is an experienced academic and educational leader with a strong background in quality management and institutional development across various universities. Currently serving as an Associate Member at De Montfort University, Andrew previously held roles at the University of Roehampton as an Honorary Research Fellow and Quality Manager for Collaborative Provision. Extensive consultancy experience includes work with The Pantheon Institute, providing study abroad programs in Rome. Andrew's leadership roles include Director of the Rome Campus at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici and Executive Vice President and Provost at The American University of Rome, where responsibilities encompassed strategic planning, academic affairs, and accreditation. Past academic positions include various roles at the University of Wales, Newport, and teaching ESL at Universita' degli studi di Genova. Andrew holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Cardiff, an MA in Linguistics from the University of Surrey, and an MA from the University of Cambridge.
