Andrea Casey is an experienced public engagement and project management professional currently serving as Public Engagement Manager and Apprenticeship Lead Officer (Engagement) at De Montfort University since January 2018. Previously, Andrea held roles including Project Manager for Expo 2020 Dubai and Development and Alumni Officer, where responsibilities included managing university projects and implementing the DMU for Life engagement strategy for alumni. Andrea’s background also includes event management at Curve Theatre as Groups, Packages and Tourism Manager, and experience as Events Coordinator at The Mighty Creatives. Andrea's earlier roles involved talent acquisition in recruitment and project management for festivals across Europe. Andrea holds a Senior Leaders EMBA Degree from De Montfort University and a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Theatre and Performance from the University of Central Lancashire.
