Tom van der Rijt is an associate lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, having transitioned from a law assistant in ESG within the same firm. Prior to this, Tom gained valuable experience at Tilburg University as a student advisor for both the Faculty Board and the Executive Committee of Education. Tom’s professional journey includes roles such as a committee member for Magister JFT and a student intern in Commercial & Corporate/M&A at HVG Law LLP. Academically, Tom holds dual master’s degrees in Law & Technology and Corporate Law from Tilburg University, complemented by an Erasmus exchange at the University of Edinburgh and a bachelor’s degree in law with a focus on Corporate Law from Tilburg University. Tom's educational foundation also includes a gymnasium diploma from Udens College, specializing in Economics and Society.
