Didem Demir currently serves as Legal Counsel at DCMN since March 2022. Prior to this, Didem held the position of Data Protection Officer and Project Consultant at eHealth Africa from October 2020 to December 2022, focusing on privacy law consulting. Didem's earlier experience includes roles as a Lawyer and Legal Engineer at Wonder.Legal, Researcher and Policy Analyst at Legal Resources Centre, and Research Assistant at the University of Potsdam, contributing to significant research projects on maternity benefits and electoral gender quotas. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Cape Town and a First State Examination in Law from the University of Potsdam. Didem also completed secondary education at Sophie-Charlotte-Gymnasium and participated in a year abroad at Escuela Cangallo Buenos Aires.
