Karen Freeman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Partner and Facilitator at DCM Insights since March 2023, Freeman previously held the role of Executive Director, Research at the Advisory Board for the Arts from December 2019 to June 2023. With a strong background in consulting, Freeman worked at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Manager in Learning Portfolio from April 2017 to December 2019, and spent over a decade at CEB in various leadership positions, including Head of CEB University and Managing Director of Learning & Development. Early career experience includes roles at Porter Novelli and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. Freeman holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and an A.B. in East Asian Studies and Linguistics from Harvard University, complemented by a strong academic foundation from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology.
