Luis Eduardo Montes

Director, Chile at DCH

Luis Eduardo Montes is the current Director for Chile at DCH. Prior to this, they were the Human Resources Manager at Experian from January 2008 to August 2010. Before that, they were the Human Resources Manager at INGEVEC S.A from October 2005 to December 2007. Luis started their career as a Senior Human Resources Analyst at Compañia SudAmericana De Vapores S.A in March 1997 and stayed with the company until October 2005.

During their time at Compañia SudAmericana De Vapores S.A, they were responsible for various compensation studies projects as well as supporting the appraisal process. From 2003 to 2005, they were also responsible for the personal performance process at CSAV Chile and developed various communications strategies. In 2002, they were responsible for the direction and implementation of the training program (ERP) at CSAV Chile and its Agencies around the world. This included e-learning training for new Agencies (ERP Frontline Shipping). From 1997 to 2002, they were also responsible for training and development policies and procedures.

Luis Eduardo Montes has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources management and is an expert in the field. Luis has a proven track record in developing and implementing successful HR strategies that have positively impacted businesses. Luis is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Luis Eduardo Montes has a Bachelor in Business from Queens College, a Master Certificate in Human Resources Management from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business, a Master in Business Management from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business, and a Strategic HR Executive Program from the University of Michigan. Luis also has a Diplomado in Human Resources - Business Administration from Universidad de Valparaíso.
