Jay Kuan-Chieh Chung is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing high-performance software systems. Currently at Dcard since February 2021, Jay works on service design utilizing Go and NodeJS, notably migrating chat functions to a microservice architecture. Prior experience includes positions at KKStream Limited, where Jay contributed to system architecture and API development, and KKBOX Inc., where Jay implemented advanced technologies such as Kubernetes and gRPC. Early roles involved software engineering at National Chiao Tung University and as an intern at Academia Sinica. Jay holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from Yuan-Ze University.
