John Wilkie is an experienced design professional with a strong background in editorial design and leadership. Currently serving as Design Editor at DC Thomson since November 2011, John oversees the design team for The Sunday Post and provides guidance across additional titles in the newspaper portfolio, leading redesign and relaunch initiatives. Prior to this role, John worked at News UK from April 2000 to October 2011, first as Art Director for the News of the World, where responsibility included managing a team for impactful layout and design, and then as a Layout Artist for The Sun, earning a reputation for versatility and expertise in page design.
