Jayne Savva is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in editorial roles, currently serving as Group Features Editor for DC Thomson since December 2018, directing print and digital features across various news brands, including The Press & Journal and The Sunday Post. Previously, Jayne was Deputy Editor for Sunday Post (Features) at Hearst Magazines and held the position of Features Editor at Best magazine, where responsibilities included generating engaging human interest and lifestyle features. Earlier career milestones include roles as Commissioning Editor at Woman ipc, Owner of Future Features, Deputy Features Editor at the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail, Reporter/Features Editor at Newsflash Press and Features Agency, and Junior Reporter at the Kirkintilloch Herald. Jayne holds an NCTJ Certificate of Newspaper Journalism from Napier University and an HND in Practical Journalism from Cardonald College.
