Tawanda Johnson is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Interim Branch Manager at DC Public Library since October 2017, with previous roles as a Library Associate and Teen Services Librarian. Tawanda's background in library sciences includes a Master of Library and Information Science degree earned from The Catholic University of America between 2018 and 2020, following a significant tenure as a Library Technician at the same institution from 2002 to 2017. Tawanda is also pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of the District of Columbia, which commenced in 2011.
