Raquel D. McConnico, CMP, CGMP, possesses extensive experience in event management and conference planning across various organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member for DC Central Kitchen since July 2021, McConnico previously held the position of Project Director at Bizzell US from February 2018 to October 2023, overseeing projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Quality Conference. Other notable roles include Senior Meeting Consultant at the Air Traffic Control Association from October 2015 to October 2017 and Meeting, Events and Exhibits Manager at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation from May 2006 to August 2015. In this capacity, McConnico played a pivotal role in planning large-scale events such as the Annual Legislative Conference, managing logistics for thousands of attendees, and cultivating relationships with corporate sponsors.
