Florian Thaler is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of OilX at Energy Aspects since February 2023. Thaler also holds the position of Board Observer at DBX Commodities and Board Member at BLOC-X, both of which began in May 2022 and June 2019, respectively. Previously, Thaler was the CEO and Co-Founder of OilX until January 2023. Thaler has contributed to various organizations, including Enerjen Capital as an Advisory Board Member and was recognized as one of the 100 Future Energy Leaders by the World Energy Council from June 2015 to February 2019. Other notable roles include Entrepreneur In Residence at The Signal Group and Oil Strategist positions at both Och-Ziff Capital Management and Citi. Thaler's career in the energy field began at Shell as an Oil Analyst.
