Sam Ahmed currently serves as Managing Director and Group COO for Global Financial Markets at DBS Bank, overseeing approximately 120 employees and managing critical functions such as Trading and Sales Desk Support, Operational Risk, and Regulatory Implementation. Prior experience includes founding Deriv Asia Pte Ltd, leading regional sales for Citi's Collateral Services, and holding various managerial roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Merrill Lynch. Ahmed's career began as a graduate management trainee at Westpac Institutional Bank. Ahmed holds a Master of Science in Communication Management from Singapore Management University and has completed executive courses at prestigious institutions, including the London School of Economics and the University of Oxford.
