Nikola Balic has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2018, they started their career as a Growth Consultant and Owner at Pulent. Nikola then went on to work at Codeanywhere as a Growth Lead, where they focused on aligning content, product, and customer experience. Nikola also worked at numarics as an Advisor to the Management. In 2019, Balic became an Ambassador at the European IP Helpdesk and a member of the RDI subcommittee at the European University of the Seas SEA-EU. In 2020, they became a Project Manager at Bluedih and also held the position of Head of Department for Science and Innovation at the University of Split. Balic's most recent role was as the Head of Growth at Daytona. Nikola also has experience working as a Teaching Associate at the University of Split, Faculty of Science and as an External Expert at The World Bank.

Nikola Balic is currently a PhD candidate at FESB - Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, specializing in Digital Transformation. Prior to their PhD studies, they obtained a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
