Roy Rawlins possesses extensive experience in emergency medical services and fire protection, currently serving as a Lieutenant/Paramedic at Daytona International Speedway since July 2015, overseeing medical operations and supplies during events. A retired Lieutenant/Paramedic and Battalion Commander with Volusia County Fire Services, Rawlins led operations across multiple fire stations and managed emergency response teams. Further experience includes a distinguished military career with the Florida Army National Guard from 1982 to 2013, holding various leadership roles in air defense and logistics. Additionally, Rawlins has a background in medical services with the Florida Department of Corrections. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Fire Science from American Military University and multiple Associate's Degrees from Daytona State College.
