Carl Kennebrew has been a proud member of IUE-CWA for over 20 years, for which he was elected to Local 84755 leadership for multiple terms. Currently, he serves as Executive Board Member for the Dayton Miami Valley AFL-CIO; proudly, in 2013, be became the first minority President of Local 755. In addition to serving as the newest Library Board Trustee, appointed by the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners in October 2015, Mr. Kennebrew is active in the community through Stand Up Ohio, the Ohio Organizing Collaborative and the Miami Valley Organizing Collaborative. A graduate of the Minorities Leadership Institute a Certified Life Coach, and a trained mediator, Mr. Kennebrew shares his skills by guiding conflicting groups to peaceful resolution and teaching diversity, change, community and teamwork. Working with Triune Skilled Development Services, he strives to assist those living in subsidy housing with finding their own self-worth and becoming a positive influence in society.
