Daniel Tran has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Daniel began their career at McDonald's as an employee, where they developed excellent organization skills and the ability to adapt to many different situations. In 2015, they began working as an Instructor at DiscoverE, where they delivered engineering-related workshops to students and developed their management skills. In 2016, they moved to IBM Canada as a Data Scientist. In 2017, they took on a role as a Software Engineer at the University of Alberta. In 2018, they joined Resolver Inc. as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they created a manual and automated test case library of ~400 tests from scratch and developed a REST API automation framework. Finally, in 2022, they became a QA Automation Engineer at Daylight.
Daniel Tran obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta between 2013 and 2018. Daniel also obtained two certifications from IBM Canada: Big Data Hadoop Foundations in June 2016, and Hybrid Cloud 2016 in June 2016. Additionally, they have a certification in Big Data Foundations from IBM Canada.
