Kevin Butterfield has an extensive work history in the power industry. Kevin has worked in various roles at different companies, including Day & Zimmermann, Babcock & Wilcox mPower SMR, AREVA NP, J.A. Jones Construction Co., and Duke Energy Corporation.

At Day & Zimmermann, Kevin served as a Market Leader/Vice President/Sr. Director/Director, Government Operations and Nuclear Markets. Their responsibilities included developing and growing government and commercial nuclear projects. Kevin successfully led the company's entry into the government market and secured a significant project at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Before that, they were a Director of SMR Project Development at Babcock & Wilcox mPower SMR, where they focused on developing the utility and DoD mPower Small Modular Reactor (SMR) power plant order book in North America.

Prior to that, Kevin was involved in the U.S. EPR Project Development at AREVA NP, where they worked on new build development efforts for the Evolutionary Power Reactor (EPR) in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Their experience also includes working as a Director of Business Development at Lockwood Greene Engineers, a subsidiary of J.A. Jones Construction Co. In this role, they led all sales, marketing, and commercial efforts for the company, providing architectural and engineering consulting, design, and construction services.

Additionally, Kevin worked as a Manager of Business Development at a start-up subsidiary of ENR-ranked 11th largest contractor, where they led business development efforts and built a successful sales and proposal team in the energy sector.

At Duke Energy Corporation, their early career included working in the Operations Test Group and serving as a Strategic Business Consultant.
