Joe Perez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Joe is currently an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of Day-J, an AI-powered personal health coach, starting from December 2020. Before that, they held multiple positions at Tastemade, including Co-Founder, Board Member, and founding Head of Product and Marketing since April 2012. Joe has also served as a Board Member at USC Center for Body Computing since March 2010. In their earlier career, they were the EVP of Product, Marketing & Community at Demand Media from May 2006 to February 2012. Joe was a Co-Founder and Head of Product and Marketing at Livestrong.com, a leading health and wellness site, and The Daily Plate, one of the first digital health destinations. Joe has also held positions at Fox Interactive Media, Case's Ladder (a division of Intermix Media), and Pulse, where they worked in product management and marketing roles.

Joe Perez attended the University of San Diego from 1989 to 1993, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing.
