Marnick Olthuis currently serves as a business analyst in the New Energy division at Tata Steel Nederland, focusing on developing the electricity strategy for the company's green steel transition since October 2021. In addition, Marnick is a skipper for Day 8 Experiences, participating in the Yachtweek flotilla since May 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a visiting associate at Boston Consulting Group in early 2021 and a graduate student/education developer for the DRIVES Project from June 2019 to June 2020, which focused on new occupations and educational needs in the European automotive sector. Marnick also completed a research internship at BOGE Elastmetall Slovakia, where the work centered on bonding interface failure mechanisms in rubber compounds. Earlier positions involved support in education at the University of Twente, coaching and rowing in race crews, and conducting research on muscle tissue adaptation at Medisch Spectrum Twente. Marnick possesses a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, both obtained from the University of Twente.
