Laura Drury

Spanish Teacher at Dawson County Schools

Laura Drury has extensive experience in education, primarily as a Spanish teacher, having taught at Dawson County Schools since August 2018 and previously at Hall County Schools from 2005 to 2018. Prior to these roles, Laura Drury served as a system coordinator for Gifted & Talented, ESOL, and Curriculum Enhancement at Harrodsburg Independent School System and held various teaching positions, including Spanish and History, at several high schools. Laura Drury began their career as a substitute teacher and an English Second Language instructor. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History Teacher Education from Georgetown College, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Eastern Kentucky University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
