Dennis Zappone is a seasoned professional in transportation construction and project management with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Transportation Construction Project Manager at Dawood Engineering, Inc. since September 2021, Dennis has also held the role of Abington Township Commissioner since January 2000. Previous positions include Senior Construction Inspector at Jacobs Engineering from May 2017 to June 2021, and Property Manager at Associa MidAtlantic, where Dennis managed a portfolio of 270 condominiums from November 2013 to January 2017. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) as Director of Maintenance and Construction, and Director of Maintenance from March 1974 to November 2007, as well as experience with the New York City Transit Authority during a tenure with the MTA. Dennis Zappone is an alumnus of Bishop McDevitt High School, graduating in 1971.
