Shawn Orris is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in operations and systems management, currently serving as Manager of IT Operations at DaVita Kidney Care since November 2015. In this role, Shawn has successfully led the internal migration of applications to Google Cloud Platform and manages a team of systems administrators and engineers. Prior to the managerial position, Shawn advanced through various roles, including Engineer and Senior Systems Administrator, where key achievements included leading major application initiatives and implementing critical security upgrades. With a strong foundation in systems engineering developed during a tenure at VC3, Shawn contributed significantly to complex projects while mentoring junior team members. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Southern Mississippi.
