Sergio Melendez, DNP-FNP, MBA, has extensive experience in healthcare management and nursing, currently serving as Division Vice President at DaVita Kidney Care since November 2011, after holding the role of Group Operations Director. Prior to this position, Sergio Melendez worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Southwest Kidney Institute from April 2006 to November 2011, and as Director of Operations at Renal Care Group from April 2001 to April 2006. Academically, Sergio Melendez earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Practice Nurse/Nursing from Frontier Nursing University between 2015 and 2017, a Master of Science (MS) in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2006, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focusing on Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix from 2001 to 2003.
