Hui Wang is a seasoned quantitative analyst and data scientist with a strong background in statistical physics and finance. Currently employed at Davidson Kempner Capital Management since June 2018, Hui Wang previously held the position of Vice President at Goldman Sachs from November 2010 to June 2018, where responsibilities included building quantitative analyses for mortgage traders and developing infrastructure for daily profit and loss reporting. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate supporting various private wealth management sectors and conducting portfolio risk assessments. Hui Wang began a career in academia as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UNC Charlotte, focusing on the thermodynamic stability of proteins through statistical physics. Hui Wang earned a PhD in Statistical Physics from Clark University and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
