Silviu Tofan is an experienced professional in data science and solution architecture, currently serving as Lead Solutions Architect - Product Specialist at Databricks since February 2019. Tofan has played a critical role in supporting strategic Azure customers and was the first Solutions Architect for Databricks on GCP, contributing to a successful product launch. Previous roles include Data Scientist at Dataiku, where Tofan assisted clients throughout project lifecycles utilizing SQL, Python, and other technologies, and Data Scientist at 1st Touch Limited, developing analytical products for the housing sector. Tofan holds a Master's Degree in Business Analytics from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's Degree in International Management from the same institution, along with other relevant educational experiences.
