Sandy Ryza is a seasoned software engineer currently working at Databricks since November 2024, having previously served as the Lead Engineer for the Dagster Project at Dagster Labs from April 2020 to November 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an ML Engineering Manager at KeepTruckin, a Senior Product Manager at Remix, a Senior Data Scientist at Clover Health, and a Senior Data Scientist at Cloudera, where Sandy focused on machine learning and data analysis. Early professional experience involved internships at Microsoft and Cloudera, as well as an information services position at Crossroads School. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, graduating cum laude with honors from Brown University in 2012.
