Ryan DeCosmo is a seasoned professional in the field of big data and technology, currently serving as the Global Adoption Lead for Unity Catalog and Field Engineering Manager at Databricks since September 2019. In this role, Ryan leads a team of Solutions Architects focused on supporting high-growth companies with cutting-edge technology, ensuring customer success through guidance and best practices. Previously, Ryan held various positions at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, including Senior Solutions Architect and Big Data Engineer, where responsibilities included real-time data processing and machine learning applications. Additionally, Ryan co-founded CareTeam Health Solutions, a medical software company, and contributed to research in computer vision for the National Science Foundation. Ryan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and graduated from Bergen County Academies with a focus on Visual and Performing Arts.
