Ratish Maruthiyodan is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in backline engineering and technical support. Currently serving as Manager of Backline Engineering at Databricks since March 2021, Ratish previously held roles at Cloudera and Hortonworks, where responsibilities included managing complex customer escalations and enhancing team knowledge through workshops and training. A Principal Product Specialist at Cloudera, Ratish specialized in Apache Kafka, Apache HBase, Apache Hadoop, and other components. Prior to that, Ratish worked at Oracle, HP, Exilant, and HCL Infosystems, developing expertise in Linux, virtualization, and network solutions. Ratish holds an MS in Computer Science from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, a BSc in IT from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, and a diploma in Computer Engineering from NTTF.
