Fiona O'Donnell has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the HR field. Fiona is currently serving as the Vice President of Global People Partners & Employee Relations at Databricks since November 2022. Prior to that, Fiona was the Head of Global People Partners & People Development at Stripe from January 2021 to November 2022.
From 2016 to 2021, Fiona worked at Google, where they held the position of Sr. Director of People. During their time at Google, Fiona served as the HR Leader and CHRO for Google Cloud's global Go-To-Market organization, managing a team of 60+ and leading an extended Cloud team of 100+. Fiona also briefly served as the interim HR leader for all of Google Cloud. Fiona's role at Google involved overseeing HR operations across 40+ countries and supporting a workforce of 14,000+ employees.
Before their tenure at Google, Fiona held the role of Director of People at Nest (Alphabet Inc.) from February 2015 to October 2016.
Fiona's extensive work history at Google also includes roles such as Lead HR Business Partner for Global Sales, Head of HR for UK Sales, Online Sales & Operations Manager for EMEA & LATAM, and Online Sales & Operations Manager for UK & Ireland. In these positions, Fiona played a key role in managing HR operations, driving revenue growth, and leading large teams.
Prior to joining Google, Fiona worked at Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge as a Marketing Project Manager. In this role, they developed online marketing initiatives and managed lead generation activities for the organization.
Fiona began their career as a Marketing Associate (AIESEC - Internship) at Turk Telekom, where they led research projects on DSL technology and supported regional PR initiatives.

Fiona O'Donnell pursued their education starting in 1998 when they attended University College Dublin. Fiona completed their Bachelor of Commerce with specialization in Irish in 2002. In the following years, Fiona expanded their academic journey by attending The University of Edinburgh in 2000 and 2001 as part of the Erasmus program, where they studied Business and Scots Gaelic. Later on, from 2008 to 2010, Fiona O'Donnell pursued their Masters of Science in International Employment Relations & Human Resource Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
