Dmitriy Layvand is an experienced professional in security risk management and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Security Risk Management and Special Projects at Databricks since May 2022. Prior to this role, Dmitriy held various leadership positions at Splunk from February 2015 to May 2022, including Global Director of Compliance, Products and Technology, where responsibilities included leading global compliance programs in close collaboration with multiple departments. Dmitriy’s extensive background also includes notable positions at FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, ProSolv Cardiovascular, Montefiore Medical Center, and as a Computer Instructor at JCH of Bensonhurst. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Professional Computer Studies and Computer Engineering from Pace University and New York University, respectively.
