David Berglund is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles within the federal service and private sector. Currently serving as the Cybersecurity Analyst Team Lead at DSA since September 2016, David previously held the position of Sr. Information Assurance Analyst at GS5, LLC for a brief period in 2016 following an early retirement from federal service. David's notable past roles include serving as the Northern Region Designated Approving Authority at the Defense Security Service and as the Director of Intelligence and Security at the Warrior Preparation Center, where responsibilities included commanding Opposing Forces for war-gaming exercises. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland College Park and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
