Yujie Zhang, PhD, is a Data Scientist currently working at Data Sciences since March 2023. Previously, Yujie held positions at Western University from May 2021 to March 2023 as a Data Scientist and Postdoctoral Associate, where Yujie developed a data-driven pipeline and an Oil Yield Prediction Engine to enhance Omega-3 oil extraction for a supplement manufacturer. Additionally, from September 2016 to December 2020, Yujie created an Insight Engine to optimize lutein production from microalgae and led a team in building a SQL database for the project. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for multiple courses and completing an internship at Mara Renewables Corporation focused on downstream process design. Yujie Zhang earned a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from Western University and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing.
