Alan Morrison has extensive experience in technology research, editing, and writing. Currently serving as an Editorial Contributor for Data Science Central since September 2021 and as a freelance technology editor, researcher, and writer since December 2020, Alan engages in documentation, editorial work, and community outreach across multiple clients. Previously, a Sr. Research Fellow in Emerging Tech at PwC for twenty years, Alan contributed to the Strategy & Research team and held roles as a tech editor and content editor focusing on emerging topics. Earlier positions include Wireless Semiconductor Market Analyst at Strategies Unlimited and Retail Site Location Analyst at Robertson Research. Alan's career began in the US Navy as an Intelligence Aircrewman and Cryptographic Technician. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Santa Clara University, an MA in Russian and International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and a BS in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Excelsior University.
