Emma L. is an experienced Operations and Finance Manager at Data for Progress since August 2022, overseeing financial, human resources, operational, and legal functions for a diverse team of over 20 remote staff members and many vendors. Emma's background includes supporting the Operations Director on various tasks related to operations, finance, HR, and legal compliance during the transition of multiple organizational entities from fiscal sponsorship. Prior experience includes serving as an Ambassador for the UNT Student Government Association, a Student Organizer for Battleground Texas, and a Fulfillment Center Associate at Amazon. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, with a minor in Spanish and International Studies, from the University of North Texas, where involvement also included leading initiatives for CHAARG to enhance membership and engagement.
