Ditmars Veinbachs is a seasoned professional in the software engineering and management domain with over three decades of experience. Currently serving as the Director of Part Modeling at Dassault Systemes since September 2002, Ditmars leads a global team of over 25 developers. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Sketcher and Principal Software Engineer, where responsibilities spanned project planning, management, and technical development in areas such as geometric transformations and 3D sketch geometry. Prior to Dassault Systemes, Ditmars held positions at Cognition Corporation, Eaton Semiconductor, and Computervision Corp, focusing on user interface development, 3D CADD programs, and numerical control machining applications. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering & Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University.
