Matthew J. Slaughter is a prominent academic and leader in the field of international business, currently serving as The Paul Danos Dean and Earl C. Daum 1924 Professor of International Business at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth since 2008. Slaughter has a rich background in economics, holding a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame. In addition to academic roles, Slaughter is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and an elected Fellow at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Slaughter has also contributed to various organizations, including serving on the Board of Academic Advisors for the International Tax Policy Forum and as an Academic Advisor for McKinsey & Company. Previous roles include Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and member of the Council of Economic Advisers in the Executive Office of the President.
