David Masson is the current Country Manager for Canada at Darktrace. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager at Public Safety Canada from January 2012 to December 2016. From January 2004 to December 2007, they worked as a First Secretary at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. From January 1998 to December 1999, they worked as a Senior Fraud Investigator at AIG. From January 1997 to December 1998, they worked as a Security Manager at NHS Scotland. From January 1990 to December 2011, they served in the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a Flight Lieutenant. From January 2007 to December 2012, they worked as a Senior Manager at the UK Ministry of Defence. From January 1999 to December 2004, they worked as a Project Manager at the UK Ministry of Defence.

David Masson studied foreign languages and literatures at the University of Edinburgh, where they earned a Master of Arts degree. David also holds a Diploma in Russian Language from the University of Strathclyde.

They are on a team with Corrado Broli - Country Manager, Italy, Yuji Ashiya - Country Manager, Japan, and Rob Sass - Managing Director, North America. David Masson reports to Nick Trim, COO.
