Jacob Trenta has a diverse work experience in the field of automation and control systems. Jacob'smost recent role was as a Senior Information Tech / Operations Tech Engineer at Darigold, where they were responsible for maintaining and upgrading plant SQL servers and databases, as well as providing support for batching and data collection applications. Jacob also managed multiple projects across manufacturing sites and developed and modified reports for the operations team. Prior to this, they worked as a Control Systems Specialist at Richard Automation, Inc., where they designed and implemented automation and controls for Oil and Gas pipeline projects. Jacob also worked at Sage Automation, Inc. as a Software Developer, focusing on conveyor systems and robotics for material handling. Jacob also gained experience at Honeywell Process Solutions as a Project Specialist, developing database and graphics for process control systems, and at Process Technical Services as a Controls System Specialist, working on upgrading and expanding process networks. Jacob started their career at Sage Automation, Inc. as a Software Developer, developing motion control programs for industrial robots.

Jacob Trenta earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from the University of Houston between 1999 and 2002. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Principles of Computing" and "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" from Coursera in August 2014 and May 2014, respectively.
