Tiago Luís Mota is a Machine Learning Engineer at DareData, where the focus is on developing computer vision-based localization algorithms for autonomous unmanned aircraft. Previously, as an Autonomous Systems Engineer at F1Tenth Foundation, Tiago designed and programmed an autonomous racing car utilizing ROS and Python. Experience at FST Lisboa involved participation in the development of autonomous electric formula racing cars, where Tiago created electronic units using ALTIUM and LTSpice and conducted on-site testing. An initial role as an Electronics Intern at the same organization provided foundational skills in PCB layout design and microchip programming. Additionally, Tiago worked as an Electrician at EST SGPS, S.A., assembling control and power distribution solutions. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Control and Robotics from Instituto Superior Técnico and Technische Universität Wien, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
