Amanda Felder is a seasoned professional in product development and engineering with extensive experience in the biotechnology and athletic sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Development at Daré Bioscience, Inc. since March 2020, Amanda previously held various roles at Illumina, including Manager and Supervisor of Engineering, from April 2013 to April 2019. Prior to transitioning into product development, Amanda was a professional triathlete from August 2005 to February 2013, achieving a top-8 national ranking and participating in over 50 international competitions. Amanda's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, complemented by experience as a Graduate Student Researcher, where innovative experimental setups and automation techniques were developed for skeletal muscle physiology research.
