Mohammed Jaufar is an experienced professional in the field of humanitarian aid and development, currently serving as Country Manager at the Danish Red Cross since October 2015, where responsibilities include ensuring adherence to program development obligations and donor reporting. Previously, Mohammed held leadership roles at Islamic Relief Worldwide from April 2011 to September 2015, including Head of Programmes and Development Program Manager, focusing on quality standards, donor relations, and staff management. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Office at UNDP from April 2005 to October 2010, leading field operations and project implementation, and as Project Officer at VSO from March 2000 to March 2005, coordinating projects and developing donor relationships. Mohammed holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Peradeniya and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.
