Anne Mette Meyer currently serves as the Climate & Anticipatory Action Lead at the Danish Red Cross, a position held since May 2022. Previously, Anne Mette Meyer was a Climate Advisor at UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre, contributing to the development of tools for assessing climate-related losses from September 2021 to April 2022. Anne Mette Meyer has extensive experience at the Danish Red Cross, spanning over two decades, including roles as a Senior Humanitarian Advisor focused on climate change, a Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Advisor, and a Programme Coordinator for various regions in Africa. Education includes an M.Sc. in International Development Studies and Geography from Roskilde University and a B.Sc. in Geography from the University of Copenhagen.
