Victor van Straaten is an experienced professional in the field of iron making technology and refractory materials, currently serving as a Product Manager, Senior Proposal Manager, and Consultant at Danieli Corus since January 2005. Responsibilities include technology and business development, technical sales, project management, and conducting blast furnace plant assessments and improvement studies. Prior roles include working as a Refractory Technologist and Manager of the Refractory Department, overseeing technical sales and project support. Before joining Danieli Corus, Victor van Straaten held various positions at Gouda Refractories from May 1996 to December 2004, which encompassed project management and engineering. Victor van Straaten holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology, earned between 1987 and 1993.
